Albertville 1, Grissom 0; Tigers fall to 8-2
Grissom lost to the 6A Aggies 1-0 at Grissom High School on March 12th. The Tigers started slow and finished the first half without a shot on goal. Six minutes into the second half, Albertville crossed the ball into the box, but keeper Kai Snodgrass was able to punch it out. It deflected to a waiting Aggie just outside the eighteen, who shot and scored the night's only goal. Grissom came alive, recording 7 shots from that point on, but fate remembered and wouldn't forgive, as shots by James Balogun and Andrew Burns came tantalizingly close. Grissom finished with 7 shots, 3 on goal, and 6 corners. Albertville took 9 shots, 3 on goal, and had one corner. Grissom recorded 1 yellow and Albertville 2.
