Grissom 3, Austin 1: Tigers Victorious on Opening Night
The Black Bears lost to the visiting Tigers 3-1 on the first night of the season. Grissom outshot Austin 21-2 with 13 on goal. Grissom had 6 corners. Austin scored at the 16 minute mark after Grissom failed to clear the ball. Grissom tied the scored six minutes later on a strike by Aiden Cleary and then took the lead with a James Balogun goal in the 28th minute. Ben Smith established the final score with a PK late in the second half with Finn Bjelke earning the assist.
