Grissom 3, Huntsville 0: Fast start propels Tigers to win
Grissom defeated the Panthers 3-0 at Huntsville High on March 22nd. Aiden Cleary scored in the 6th minute with a Martin Guzman assist. William Bjelke advanced the margin to 2-0 two minutes later assisted by Cleary. James Balogun closed out the scoring in the 24th minute of the first half when he fought through a Corner kick scrum and pounded the ball into the net. The Grissom defense had another strong performance with Kai Snodgrass recording 11 saves. Grissom took 20 shots with 15 on goal. Huntsville took 16 shots with 11 on goal. Grissom moves to 3-0 in area play with 3 games to go. Two teams out of the four Area 7 teams {Grissom, Huntsville, Hewitt, and Gadsden} advance to the playoffs.
