Grissom 4, Gadsden 0; Grissom earns 4th area win on Senior Night
Grissom celebrated Senior Night with a 4-0 win over Gadsden City under the lights at Grissom High School. Grissom recognized Seniors William Bjelke, James and Daniel Balogun, Kai Snodgrass, Ben Smith, and Colby Thorgerson in a ceremony prior to the game. In the 12th minute, Thorgerson passed to Junior Aiden Cleary who blasted the ball into the Titan net for his 17th goal of the season. Cleary would later collect his 18th to lead the Grissom attack. Balogun also scored two goals, his 13th and 14th of the season. Grissom took 28 shots on the night with 14 on goal and had 12 corners. Gadsden took 4 shots, none on goal, with 1 corner. Grissom improves to 4-0 in area play with two games remaining against Huntsville.
