Grissom 5, Hazel Green 1: Tigers victorious at first game at new high school

Grissom christened its new field with a resounding 5-1 win over Hazel Green.  Measuring 120x80 yards, the new field created open lanes for the Grissom forwards.  Grissom had 23 shots with 15 on goal.  Aidan Cleary opened the scoring in the 20th minute followed by a James Balogun goal 9 minutes later. The half ended 2-0.  The margin was 2-1 early in the second half, but Grissom netted three goals to finish the game.  Lucas Farmer scored on a penalty kick; Carter Thomas followed a missed PK and scored, and Daniel Balogun had a late goal.  Kai Snodgrass was in goal recording 10 saves on 11 shots.  Grissom moves to 3-3-3 on the season.
