Huntsville 2, Grissom 0: Panthers win Island Cup with two second half goals

Huntsville defeated Grissom 2-0 in the Island Cup Championship at Orange Beach. The Panthers started strong, but a series of offside calls kept them out of the net. The first half ended in a 0-0 tie.  Grissom's best chance came 8 minutes into the second half when James Balogun made an acrobat run across the box and shot into the waiting arms of Huntsville goalie Ben Colebaugh.  At the 15 minute mark, the ball escaped a scrum in front of the Grissom goal and eluded the grasp of goalie Kai Snodgrass. Huntsville made it 2-0 twelve minutes later on a 20-yard strike from Tyler Fontes.  Huntsville took 8 shots with 4 on goal and had 3 corners.  Grissom took 9 shots with 4 on goal and had 2 corners.
