They added another in the 8th minute to go up 2-0. James Balogun narrowed the margin to 2-1 in the 30th minute, when he headed a pass from his brother Daniel into the Rebel goal, giving the Tiger fans hope for the second half. However, Vestavia added the only goal of the second half in the 30th minute to secure the victory and earn the final four match with Mountain Brook at John Hunt. Vestavia ended with 19 shots and 9 corners. Grissom had 6 shots and 1 corner. Vestavia accumulated 9 fouls to Grissom's 5.
